To A Mountain Rendezvous

And The Road Map To Get There!

Mat 7:14  “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it.”

The story of a wedding is found in Matthew 22:1-14.  “The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son.”  The guests that were invited chose the carnal issues of life to deal with like farming or buying and selling.  These guests (also known as chief priests and Pharisees 21:45) were considered unworthy for not heeding the call to the kingdom of heaven, so the servants were told to gathered sinners from the high ways.  Certain of the guests could not give account of themselves (Rom. 14:12) for not having on the proper garments of righteousness.  They were cast out of the kingdom into outer darkness.  “Many had been called but few chosen.”

Because Yahshua willingly gave his life’s blood as the final sacrificial Lamb, we now have forgiveness of all of our sins and become pure before him and the Father.  In John 19:30 He declared from the cross that “It is finished.”  This means all was complete.  Once we repent and learn to obey we become one with HIM and can dine with him at his table.  Christianity falsely refers to the Passover meal that occurred the night before the crucifixion as the Lord’s “last supper.”  Actually, it was held to further clarify to us that he will never leave us nor forsake us and that of His Kingdom, there was NO END.

Today, there is a marriage supper still taking place.  Those wearing the robes of righteousness are invited as the virgin bride of Yahshua (Mat. 25).  This is a mountain rendezvous and most people have a road map some place in their homes with instructions on how to get there.  Oh, but this is no ordinary road map that you would buy at the gas station.  This one is more like a hidden treasure map with things we have to “do” to be classified as worthy to receive an invitation.  (Act 5:32:  “And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom Yahweh has given to them that obey him.”)  In James 2:18 it isn’t just works either, it is Faith by works.  The mountain is no ordinary mountain to be seen with the eye.   Later on we will see where this mountain rendezvous is and it’s name.

Yahweh, the god of heaven and earth, lays out a concise road map of instructions in the Bible on how to get from point A to point B.  He tells us in specific terms how to follow the right way.  It is one thing to read the map; it is quite a different thing to understand it.  Until I was 50 years old, I was just reading this map or looking at it. My beginning point “A” was a life of sin and despair, darkness and woe.  The master of parables, who is Yahshua my Savior, would say that this is the lowest of gutters where the swine eat, and like all the other little piggies, I did not know that there was a better life outside my little comfort zone.  I was constantly being “fed” garbage from the television and accepted hand-outs from the government.  I had the dumb sheep syndrome from the watered down, tainted with poison drink on Sunday morning, and temptations from “friends” or co-workers made me have heard mentality so I was like a contented cow and I forgot that there even was a God.  “If you can’t beat’em join’em”, they’d say.  But for me, there was a small voice calling and saying different things to me.  Sweet things of love and life.

I heeded the call because I was “sick” and “tired” of the stench and began looking for the fresh clean air from the mountain as the wind of the Holy Spirit blew down a cool mist upon my lips to whet my appetite.  Even with the beast mentality, I could smell the fresh water in the air and no one could stop me from running toward that wide and deep river gushing from the high mountain that seems to glow with a most brilliant burning light.

Oh, I’ve had my share of detours as I lost sight of this obscure road.  So I would ask “strangers” to show me the way.  This will get you “lost” for sure.  I’ve heard for some 20 years that I needed to pack plenty of food, water, and blankets and most definitely you have to have money to buy your way through the gates. “Just around the corner is the tribulation, don’t forget your batteries for the flashlight.”  Well, I could take heed to the stranger’s message, but I like the sound of the other voice that sounds like a trumpet in my ears to point me to His Words.

Mat 10:9-10  “Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.”  Mark 6:8-9  “And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse; But be shod with sandals; and not put on two coats.”

John 8:12  Then spoke Yahshua again unto me, saying, “I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”  Then he tells me in Mat 5:14:  “You are the light of the world…” so if he is the light, how can we be the light?  Simple, He lives in us; he dwells in his temple.  1Cor. 3:16  “Know you not that you are the temple of Yeshua, and that the Spirit of Yeshua dwells in you?”  Paul goes on to tell the Corinthians in II Cor. 3:17 “Yahshua is that Spirit…”

As the people who see me on my journey ask “where are you going?”  I say, “I have this map to Mount Zion!  It’s the one Yahweh gave to Moses, and then my brother Yahshua left it to me is his will.”  The ones who hear the trumpet in the background sit with me in the cool shade of the “olive tree” (symbolic for anointing oil of the Holy Spirit) as I give them free drinks of the living water that flow from my mouth as rain.  (John 7:38)

Job 29:21-23 “Unto me men gave ear, and waited, and kept silence at my counsel.  After my words they spoke not again and my speech dropped upon them.  And they waited for me as for the rain; and they opened their mouth wide as for the latter rain.”

We as Yahweh’s servants have been made testators unto the kingdom through his son Yahshua and we are now joint heirs. Heb 9:16:  “For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.  For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator lives.”  We also must put to death the old man; we must die to self, and be raised up from the waters of baptism as a new creature, born again in Christ so that our seed, our children, can bring forth fruit fit for the kingdom and it’s increase thereof.

The kingdom had been established by the Apostles and their writings are the foundation on which we build our New City walls (Rev. 21:14, Isa 26:1).  Acts 1:7 explains that the Holy Spirit gives US the Power to establish His Kingdom so that we can eat and drink at his table in his kingdom. (Luke 22:29-30)  To be guests clothed properly we must live righteously having the mind of the Messiah each day as we recognize our roll as part of his body; his flesh and bone.

The commanded Holy Day of Passover is a memorial of Yahshua’s death that took away our sins.  Because we are now sinless or unleavened, we can sit at his table wearing white robes of righteousness and be a part of his body with him as the head.  We eat “unleavened” bread which is symbolic of HIS sinless body and drink of HIS blood symbolized with wine.  We truly are ONE WITH HIM because we are also a sinless body, and we are also the blood from good grapes of fruitfulness made into wine.

John 3:1:  “That whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.”  John 10:28-30:  “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.  My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.  I and my Father are one.”  I John 4:13:  “Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and He in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.”

Yahshua is the second “ADAM” (I Cor. 15:45) and has said the same thing that the first Adam said of his wife in Genesis 2:23: “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh, she shall be called wife because she was taken out of Man [kind].” Mat 19:6 “Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore Yahweh hath joined together, let not man put asunder.”

It is tradition at the beginning of each Sabbath day of rest that we ask for the blessing of the family and the “leavened” bread and wine.  This family is not only those who live under our roofs, but the whole nation of people who have been called or shall be called by the Spirit of Yahweh where ever they may be.  The bread is not only that which is baked in an oven, it is symbolic of the people of Yahweh, those with “leaven” who are being tried in the “fires” for the cleansing of all unrighteousness. Rev 3:18-22  “I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou may be rich; and white raiment, that thou may be clothed, that the shame (Rev. 16:15) of thy nakedness does not appear; (remember Adam and Eve) and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that thou may see.  As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him [at the wedding], and he with me.  To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne...”

The bread is made with “wheat” which is what is harvested by the reapers and stored into the barn whereas the “tares” are burned up.  This is in Matthew 13:30 as the fulfillment of an age, at the time of wheat harvest.  See the section on end of the age to see WHEN this is.

The wine is not simply the juice of fermented grapes found in a bottle.  Like the people tried in the fires, this wine is symbolic of the juice of good grapes that are crushed in the wine press and flow as blood into the Lord’s cup that is full and overflowing in love.  Rev 3:19  “As many as I love, I rebuke (convict) and chasten (teach): be zealous therefore, and repent.”  Rev 16:4  “And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and  fountains of waters [Rev. 17:15 waters are people]; and they became blood.^129”

The word blood is #G129 aima hah'ee-mah  Of uncertain derivation; blood, literally (of men or animals), figuratively (the juice of grapes) or specifically (the atoning blood of Christ); by implication bloodshed, also kindred: - blood.  Notice too that it says KINDRED.  Could this be a mass conversion taking place of those coming out of Babylon as they “turn” from their sins, “repent” and become KINDRED with us once the Holy Spirit is poured out on them?  In the New Testament, the word “vial” is only found in the book of Revelation.  When it is used in the Old Testament it always contains OIL for anointing.  These vials are no different.

The wine is made from “the fruit of the vine”, the juice of grapes or “aima”.   John 15:4-5 “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can you, except you abide in me.  I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing.”  Isaiah 5:1-2 “Now will I sing to my well-beloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My well-beloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill: [anointed sons and daughters full of power] And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones [the stony hearts] thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower [pulpits] in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes [to bear fruit] and it brought forth wild grapes [poison berries]… 5:7  For the vineyard of the Yahweh of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment… and righteousness and behold a gathering together for oppression.”

The good grapes, the fruitful ones, are for the winepress of the Lord’s cup, but the wild grapes are destines for the winepress of wrath.  Read all of Isaiah 5 to see the symbolism and destiny for the righteous judges and unrighteous idolaters.  See also Jeremiah 2:21-23, 8:13; Rev. 14:19, 17:1-2.  “He that eats and drinks unworthily eats and drinks damnation to himself, not discerning (judging) the body of Yahshua.”  I Cor. 11:29-32 has someone who did not judge himself to be a poison berry, therefore sickness and death followed.  We are to judge ourselves before we judge the world.  In Rev. 16:19 Babylon is given this cup of wrath full of poison berry juice.

Folks, we do not have to wait 2000 years for our inheritance, i.e. for the kingdom to start up again, which is what is being taught by the false ministers.  If you follow the road map in your Bibles you will get to point B and have fellowship with the one who died and is now alive forevermore, and with all of the saints who are now a part of his BODY.  It is a kingdom full of peace, council and a loving family eager to help, plus we can live there forever.”  Come join me in being a part of this “body” with Yahshua as the head of our lives.  We will not learn or teach war anymore.  This is a fulfillment of Isaiah 2:4 and Micah 4:3.  We teach peace!

I’ve had my share of lawless churches that have this silly notion that the kingdom is up in heaven far, far away, and if you’ve lead a good life you go there to walk on streets of gold when you die.  Yes, yes, I know, it is called the Kingdom of heaven, but that is not where it is.  Or that at some point in the future there will be this city of gold to come down to land on earth like some space ship.  Well, that’s not an accurate translation of the Bible’s parable.  I John 5:13 says that if we believe in the authority of Yahshua as our head and let him lead us, we already have eternal life.    If we have “put to death” the old flesh man with the waters of baptism, we have risen with him to a newness of life; this is our resurrection (#386 raised to life again).  John 10:28  “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish (#622 die), neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”  See also John 6:50, 11:26 and Romans 8:13.  Understand that if you have not put to “death” your flesh nature and “died” to sin through repentance and baptism, the first death, then you shall have a part in the second death which is eternal death in the grave for unbelievers.  See Rev. 2:11 and 20:6.

Because our faith is in Yahshua, through his grace we are free from sin and death.  We have reached point “B” because we followed the road map.  Now let’s look at some more of the scriptures that helped me to see that after the Holy Spirit is given to us, the power is there to enable us to “establish the kingdom” in our every day lives.  Sometimes it takes longer than others to get it firmly established.  In my case, I feel like I’m learning every day of the things I have to repent of to bring me to perfection.  Only the father knows the proper time or season in which I will be shown the fullness of His Glory.  I believe what is in Acts 1:8.  After the disciples asked Yahshua if he was going to be the one to restore “again” the kingdom, He tells us that YOU RECEIVE THE POWER TO ESTABLISH THE KINGDOM once you have the Spirit within you, and will be witnesses on the earth of this kingdom.

Just like in the Old Testament, the people still wanted to have a physical king.  All of Jerusalem believed that Yashua was going to take the kingdom away from the Pharisees and that is why they put him to death.  Yahshua is not going to “return” the way he used to be in the physical to sit on some throne in Jerusalem.  We are his unleavened BODY in the flesh and we all “sit” as kings and priests NOW because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world (I John 4:4).  If not, then he is not ruling in our lives as KING of kings.  See Rev. 1:6 and 5:10.  Is He our KING now or not?  Do we hear the Shepherd’s voice now or not?  It is the saints who are to now judge the world sitting as kings.  Hebrews 10:5 says that we have been made holy and Yahshua says “a body (4982 a sound whole) hast thou prepared (2675 made perfect, joined together) [for] me.”

Luke 24:39  “Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.”  In speaking to the Pharisees about a marriage covenant he was telling them how He views the covenant with his wife, “Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.” Mat 19:6.  We are the body, the flesh and bones of our husband “Adam”.  Yahshua’s Bride, his chosen people who are faithful, make up this New Jerusalem in the heavens that you are looking for, and you’ve received an invitation to be a part of it.  “Jerusalem” means to teach peace and this teaching comes from heavenly places in the Messiah, through us.

Eph 1:3, 20-23:  “Blessed be the Elohim and Father of our Master Yahshua, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly (#2032 celestial) places in Christ… Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly²⁰³² places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world (age), but also in that which is to come [for our children Eph. 3:21]:  And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things, to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him that fills all in all.” If he resides in us then we need not look for him to be dwelling any place else. Read Heb. 12:22.

Gal 4:19 “My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you…”

Eph 2:4:  “But Yahweh who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together (#4806 co-jointly) with Christ, by (grace ye are saved;) and hath raised us up together, (#4891 to rouse from death) and made us sit together in heavenly²⁰³² places in Yahshua the Messiah.”  If Yahshua is in heaven then so are we because we are in him and he is in us.  We truly do have access to the throne of grace and can go there “boldly” to find help in time of need (Heb. 4:16).

Eph 3:9-12:  “… to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in Yahweh, who created all things by Yahshua the Messiah, to the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly²⁰³² places might be known (#1107 given to understand) by the church the manifold wisdom of Yahweh according to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Yahshua the Messiah in whom we have boldness  and access (#4318 admission) with confidence by the faith of him.”

Heb 12:22:  “But ye are come unto mount Zion, unto the city of the living Elohim, the heavenly²⁰³² Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company (#3461 ten thousand) of angels (#32 messengers, bringers of good tidings), [i.e.] to the general assembly (universal) and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven (#3772 from #3735 mountain), …to Yahweh the Judge of all, …to the spirits of just men (#1342 innocent and righteous) made perfect (#5048 complete, of full age), and to Yahshua the mediator of the new covenant…”

The first covenant was written by the finger of Yahweh onto tables of stone cut from the mountain, but this renewed covenant is written in the hearts of the saints whose hearts have been changed from stone to flesh.  We are flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone.

Ezek 11:19-20 “And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh: that they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them, and they shall be my people, and I will be their Elohim.”

“But you are come to mount Zion” is a fulfillment of Jeremiah 3:13-18 as far as those of us who have repented of our father’s sins and our own sins and RETURNED to our husband.  This is in obedience also to the 3^rd commandment of not taking our husband’s name in vain.  However, all Ten of the Commandments are a marriage covenant.

Beginning in verse 13: Only acknowledge our iniquity against Yahweh.

14: Return from backsliding to our marriage partner.  WE GO TO ZION!

15: We are given keepers of sheep to feed us knowledge and understanding.  Once we get it we don’t have to keep going back for the same feeding but go on to perfection.  (Heb. 6:1-3).

16: The word “ark” is #727, to gather.  After the knowledge and understanding is increased in us, we do not have to continually “make covenant” or “gather”, because we will not break the covenant of marriage.  We are married for life eternal.

17: Jerusalem is called the throne of Yahweh and is not a geographical location but rather the condition of those PEOPLE who are chosen of Israel (the 12 tribes who are spiritually espoused to Yahshua as the bride) having their father’s name written in their foreheads and no longer walking after the flesh but after the spirit.  We have the mind of Christ and let him direct our every thought and action (II Cor. 10:5).

The carnal definition of “Jerusalem” is below, but to understand that it is not a “Place” but rather “Who” the spiritual New Jerusalem is, we look at the root words.

Jerusalem - H3389  ירוּשׁלים    ירוּשׁלם y^erûshâlaim  y^erûshâlayim yer-oo-shaw-lah'-im, yer-oo-shaw-lah'-yim A dual (in allusion to its two main hills (the true pointing, at least of the former reading…); probably from (the passive participle of) H3384 and H7999; founded peaceful; Jerushalaim or Jerushalem, the capital city of Palestine: - Jerusalem.

H3384  ירא    ירה yârâh  yârâ' yaw-raw', yaw-raw' A primitive root; properly to flow as water (that is, to rain); transitively to lay or throw (especially an arrow, that is, to shoot); figuratively to point out (as if by aiming the finger), to teach: -  (+) archer, cast, direct, inform, instruct, lay, shew, shoot, teach (-er, -ing), through.

We are “yarah” when we have the rivers of living water flowing from our bellies and out our mouths as we teach new disciples the parables of the kingdom from Scripture. 

H7999  שׁלם shâlam shaw-lam' A primitive root; to be safe (in mind, body or estate); figuratively to be (causatively make) completed; by implication to be friendly; by extension to reciprocate (in various applications): - make amends, (make an) end, finish, full, give again, make good, (re-) pay (again), (make) (to) (be at) peace (-able), that is perfect, perform, (make) prosper (-ous), recompense, render, requite, make restitution, restore, reward, X surely.

When we greet our brothers and sisters we say “Shalom” which means to be safe, be at peace and friend.  Y^erûshâlaim is our character and style of living.  This word defines every thing that we are supposed to be doing.

Please Father, give the people reading this the sight to see that WE make up JERUSALEM, the Holy City as a Holy People who “point the way” with truth and teach others to follow the road map to Zion.  We are to strive to be good teachers of truth.  2Ti 2:15:  “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing³⁷¹⁸ the word of truth.”

G3717 orthos or-thos' Probably from the base of G3735; right (as rising), that is, (perpendicularly) erect (figuratively honest), or (horizontally) level or direct: - straight, upright.

G3735 oros or'-os (to rise or “rear”; perhaps akin to G142 [expiate sin, loose]; compare G3733); a mountain (as lifting itself above the plain): - hill, mount (-ain).

G5114  tomōteros tom-o'-ter-os (to cut, as if by a single stroke; more keen: - sharper.

Heb 4:12:  “For the word of Yahweh is quick, and powerful, and sharper⁵¹¹⁴ than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

18: Judah and Israel have already become of one mind because the Spirit has drawn them from among the false religions (taken from carnal man) and are under the Supreme Shepherd. (Remember, many are called but few are chosen) Because we obtain knowledge and understanding and can grow into perfection we then come from the “land of the north.”  North is: H6828 צפן    צפון  tsâphôn  tsâphôn tsaw-fone', tsaw-fone' From H6845; properly hidden, that is, dark; used only of the north as a quarter (gloomy and unknown): - north (-ern, side, -ward, wind).

H6845  צפן tsâphan tsaw-fan' A primitive root; to hide (by covering over); by implication to hoard or reserve; figuratively to deny; specifically (favorably) to protect, (unfavorably) to lurk: - esteem, hide (-den one, self), lay up, lurk (be set) privily, (keep) secret (-ly, place).

We no longer look through a glass darkly.  We know that we know.  We live in the light and light overcomes darkness (Luke 11:33).  Because the spirit gives us understanding we have the power to speak boldly from the heavenlies of Yahshua’s kingdom here on earth.  Read Jeremiah 50:9, 41.

What does it mean to look through a glass darkly in I Cor. 13:12?  In my studies, I had the need to look up the word “diffusion” in the dictionary.  According to Webster’s it can mean to disperse and soften the light as by using frosted glass.  A diffuser is someone who uses more words than are needed and are wordy.  They intermingle the truth with untruth so that you cannot see clearly the truth.  We have to come out from among them and be separate.

I looked up this word because of a word in Mat 3:12 “Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner (barn); but he will burn up the chaff⁸⁹² with unquenchable fire.”

G892 αχυρον achuron akh'-oo-ron Perhaps remotely from χεω cheō (to shed forth); chaff (as diffusive): - chaff.

In I John 2 beginning in verse 18 we read of eternal life that is promised to us.  In Yahshua’s time there were antichrists and “even now are there many antichrists; whereby [from them] we know that they are [antichrist] at the end of the day.  They went out from us, but were not of us.  But you have an unction, an anointing from the Holy One and you know all [the whole] those that are of us.  Let the unction abide in you and you shall continue in the Son and in the Father.  This is a promise.  Do not let the antichrists seduce and deceive you because the anointing of Messiah is in you and you don’t need teaching from those men.  New converts can have confidence when Yahshua is rendered apparent or manifested in our “body” as he is the head.  We are not ashamed before him at His presence.  We do righteously because we have righteousness abiding in us.  Therefore we are born of him as sons and daughters of Yahweh.”

1Jn 4:17:  “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.”  I Cor. 6:2:  “Do you not know that the saints judge the world?”    John 7:24:  “Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.” Only the Holy Spirit can enable us to make righteous judgments, because we then have the mind of the Messiah.

Earlier we learned about the Sabbath rest blessing on the family, the leavened bread and wine and what they represented.  We also learned that the saints are already in the “heavenlies” or “heaven” in Yahshua, sitting as kings to make righteous judgments.  When the apostles asked Yahshua to teach them to pray, he began in Luke 11:2 with: “When ye pray, say, Our Father which is in heaven(lies),³⁷⁷² Hallowed be your name. Thy kingdom (#932 reign) come. Your will be done, as in heaven (lies),³⁷⁷² so in earth (ly).”¹⁰⁹³

G3772 ouranos oo-ran-os' Perhaps from the same as G3735 [seen above] (through the idea of elevation); the sky; by extension heaven (as the abode of Yahweh); by implication happiness, power, eternity; specifically the Gospel (Christianity): - air, heaven ([-ly]), sky.

G1093 γη gē ghay Contracted from a primary word; soil; by extension a region, or the solid part or the whole of the terrene globe (including the occupants in each application): - country, earth (-ly), ground, land, world.

Luk 17:21  “Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom⁹³² of God is within you.”  His model pray is telling us to pray that the earthly, carnal people have the kingdom of Yahweh come into them just like it is already in us who are in the heavenlies.  We are to want them to experience the Holy Spirit with the happiness, power and eternal life through the Gospel.

The Mountain Rendezvous

In the next few pages we’re going to be studying a word in the New Testament that has been given a bad wrap by everyone.  The word is Armageddon and is only used once in the Greek.  Rev. 16:15:  “…Blessed is he that watches and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.  And he gathered them together into a place (5117) called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon (717).

But first we’ll look at “place.”  G5117 topos top'-os Apparently a primary word; a spot (generally in space, but limited by occupancy; that is, location (as a position, home, tract, etc.); figuratively condition, opportunity; specifically a scabbard: - coast, license, place, X plain, quarter, + rock, room, where.

The word “license” is used only once in Acts 25:16:  “To whom I answered, It is not the manner of the Romans to deliver any man to die before that he which is accused have the accusers face to face, and have LICENSE to answer for himself concerning the crime laid against him.”

Question:  just who is it that is gathered together to Armageddon?  Answer: Those of you who watch and keep your garments.   This is a “PLACE” where you are given license to answer for yourself.  If you go without the proper marriage garments, which are the white robes of righteousness, then you will not have an answer.  You have not rightly divided the truth as instructed in II Timothy 2:15.

Let’s go to Matthew 22 and study about the wedding invitations again.  The people who were invited at first found excuse to not go, therefore were deemed not worthy.  So the servants were told to invite others.  Starting in verse 10-13:  “So the servants went out into the highways and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good and the wedding was furnished with guests.  And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment.  And he said unto him, Friend, how came you in here not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.  Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot and take him away and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

These “places” are prepared for us.  John 14:2:  “In my Father’s family are many residence [positions] to stay in; if it were not so I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you.”  Read I Cor. 12:28 and Ephesians 4:11.

The “gathering together” of the marriage guests in Matthew 22 is the same “gathering together” of those who go to Armageddon!!!  Looking back up at #5117 again we see the words “specifically a scabbard”.  A scabbard is the thing where the SWORD is placed.  Since we know that the Sword is symbolic of the WORD of Yahweh, it is only reasonable to say that we have a two edged sword coming out of our mouth when we speak the WORDS of Scripture.  This “place”, this scabbard, is a good thing.   It is a safe place to stay with the family.  You’ve heard the term “A place of safety”, well, there you have it.

This two-edged sword, this WORD is the one that fulfills Mat 24:51  “And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion (outside the gates of the kingdom) with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

A “guest” is G345 anakeimai an-ak-i'-mahee From G303-up and G2749-to lie outstretched (literally or figuratively): - be (appointed, laid up, made, set), lay, lie. to recline (as a corpse or at a meal): - guest, lean, lie, sit (down, at meat), at the table.

John 13:23 “Now there was leaning³⁴⁵ on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.”  Anyone eating of the Lord’s table, eating the meat of the Word and clothed in righteousness is a guest and is also the Bride.

2Ti 4:8 “Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day [that I do the work of an evangelist v.4]: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.  (2015 bright manifestation).”

Are you good and confused about what you have been told about Armageddon?  Or is this a subject that is taboo to your ministers?  In the Bible there are “types” and “anti-types.”  Forget about physical war and battle, blood shed and darkness, even though in II Chronicles 35:22 Josiah king of Judah disguised himself to fight another man in Megiddon who was sent of Yahweh. This was the “type”.  All I ask is that you have an open mind and seek Yahshua’s teaching of this Hebrew rooted word.    The “types” are things that happened in the physical to show us the “anti-types” that are hidden in parable form and are seen in the spiritual realm.  Oh by the way, has anyone determines exactly where this “place” is?  After all, if a person is planning on going there to fight for Yahweh, then they have to know where it is, right?

It’s the same principal as Yahshua telling us to “Come out of Babylon.”  If you believe it to be a “physical” place then I want every one to pack their bags and hop a plane to Iraq so you can physically be there in order to “come out.”  How absurd, Babylon is of a spiritual nature and means a type of tyranny and confusion (H1101).  Armageddon has the same principle.  This Greek word is actually taken from two Hebrew words.

G717 Armageddōn ar-mag-ed-dohn' Of Hebrew origin [H2022] and [H4023]; Armageddon (or Har-Megiddon), a symbolical name: - Armageddon.

H2022 הר har har A shortened form of H2042; a mountain or range of hills (sometimes used figuratively): - hill (country), mount (-ain), X promotion.

H2042 הרר hârâr  haw-rawr' From an unused root meaning to loom up; a mountain: - hill, mount (-ain).

Isa 40:31  But they that wait upon Yahshua shall renew their strength; they shall mount up [be high] with wings as eagles [to cut or lacerate]; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Psa 74:2  Remember thy congregation(#5712 family), which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of your inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount²⁰²² Zion,⁶⁷²⁶ wherein thou hast dwelt. (#7931 abide, inhabit)

Here in this verse of Psalms it is clear that it is the congregation i.e. the assembly that gathers themselves together in praising and singing that is purchased or redeemed and IS mount Zion where Yah dwells.

H4023 מגדּו    מגדּון  m^egiddôn  megiddô meg-id-done', meg-id-do' From H1413; rendezvous; Megiddon or Megiddo, a place in Palestine: - Megiddo, Megiddon.

H1413גּדד  gâdad gaw-dad' A primitive root (compare H1461); to crowd; also to gash (as if by pressing into): - assemble (selves by troops), gather (selves together, self in troops), cut selves.

H1461 גּוּב  gûb goob A primitive root; to dig: - husbandman.

Gen. 3:23  “Therefore Yahweh Elohim sent him forth from the garden (the Part that is fenced)  of Eden ( #5730 pleasure), to till (#5647 work as a husbandman)  the ground¹²⁷ (adamah-land) from whence he was taken.”

H127 אדמה 'ădâmâh ad-aw-maw' From H119; soil (from its general redness): - country, earth, ground, husband [-man] (-ry), land.

H119 אדם 'âdam aw-dam' To show blood (in the face), that is, flush or turn rosy: - be (dyed, made) red (ruddy).

In Genesis we have the “type” which is Adam the husband in the flesh and the New Testament gives us the “anti-type” Adam the husband who is Yashua the quickening Spirit.  Again, I say that we are to return to our husbandman who is the second Adam and to the fenced city of Zion, to be a part of the New Jerusalem.  The word “land” in many instances is taken from #119, Adam.

The End of the Age

The traditional teaching about the end of the age or the “end of the world” is when world governments enter a no-win conflict with each other and the atomic bombs are detonated which will consume most if not all of the planet with fire and this is after the saints are raptured up into the sky to be with Jesus.  They all then return on horses to kill or subdue the rest of the people who still wish to fight for supremacy.  Jesus then goes to Jerusalem, to the Mount of Olives and when he puts his feet down there is a great earth quake which splits the mountain.  He is crowned King on a physical throne.  The earth is healed and there is never again war, sickness and death.  Even the animals supposedly take on a different nature and do not kill for food.  The lion lies down with the lamb.  These are all parables.

From the following verse from the book of Hebrews, it is evident that the end of the world did not happen 2000 years ago when Yahshua walked this earth, so this must mean something else.  You cannot have the end of something that is “eternal”, which is what the world is.  What is it that had been finished or ended?  Didn’t he put an end to sin for the believer?

Heb 9:26  “For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world (2889 adorning) but now once in the end (4930 entire completion) of the world¹⁶⁵ hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.”

The word “world” is G165 aiōn ahee-ohn' From the same as G104; properly an age; by extension perpetuity (also past); by implication the world; specifically (Jewish) a Messianic period (present or future): - age, course (Eph. 2:2), eternal, (for) ever (-more), [n-]ever, (beginning of the, while the) world (began, without end). Compare G5550.

G104 aei ah-eye' From an obsolete primary noun (apparently meaning continued duration); “ever”; by qualification regularly; by implication earnestly: - always, ever.

There are so many scriptures that indicate that there are “ends of Ages” at various stages of our lives.  Ages come and go.  In Ephesians 2:2 I can say that this scripture is referring to me because “Wherein in time past I walked according to the course (#165-world) of this world (#2889-adorning), according to the prince (#748 to rule over) of the power of the air, the spirit (4151 breath) that worked in me, a child of disobedience.”  I spoke like the majority of mankind.  Coming out of my mouth was evil backbiting, hatred, strife, etc. etc.  I came to the end of the age when I repented and started learning of the Laws that I must obey and the King of that Law system to enable my Faith and Love, to become rooted and grow in Yahshua rather than having faith in the flesh.  I was harvested out of the world.

Rom 12:2  “And be not conformed to this world:¹⁶⁵ but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect,⁵⁰⁴⁶ will of Yahweh.”

John 17:4  “I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished⁵⁰⁴⁸ the work which thou gave me to do.”  Yahshua completed his work at the end of an age and another age began.  To be of full age, perfected by the Holy Spirit, this should have priority in our lives.  He tells us to become perfect even as He is perfect.

G5048 teleioō tel-i-o'-o From G5046; to complete, that is, (literally) accomplish, or (figuratively) consummate (in character): - consecrate, finish, fulfill (John 19:28), (make) perfect (I John 4:18).

G5046 teleios tel'-i-os From G5056; complete (in various applications of labor, growth, mental and moral character, etc.); neuter (as noun, with G3588) completeness: - of full age, man, perfect.

G5056 elos tel'-os From a primary word tellō (to set out for a definite point or goal); properly the point aimed at as a limit, that is, (by implication) the conclusion of an act or state (termination [literally, figuratively or indefinitely], result [immediate, ultimate or prophetic], purpose); specifically an impost or levy (as paid): - + continual, custom, end (-ing), finally, uttermost.

Matthew 13 is the parable of the sewer of seeds in the Kingdom.  Verse 38 tells us that the field is the world and the good seed or the wheat, are the children of the Kingdom.  They are the seed that have fallen on good ground, hears the word and understands to bring forth fruit.

However, growing with the children of the Kingdom are wicked ones.  At the harvest, these wicked ones are to be “gathered out of the kingdom all things that offend and them which do iniquity (the tares or chaff) and cast into a furnace of fire; there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.  Then the righteous shall shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.”(Rev. 1:16)  Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of Yahweh is quick and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of the soul and spirit and discerns the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

Yes, by speaking the gospel of the Kingdom of Yahweh, we are able to discern between the children of the Kingdom and the devils that speak of worldly things; things that are terrestrial and not of the celestial or heavenly things.  They cannot understand the gospel of which we speak.  They have forked tongues mixing truth with lies.

Revelation 1:16 “And Yahshua had in his right hand seven stars (churches) and out of their mouths went a sharp two-edged sword, and their countenance was as the sun shines in their strength.”

Judges 5:31 “So let all your enemies perish, but let them that love Yahweh be as the sun when he goes forth in his might.”  This is how the worldly people are burned with fervent heat in II Peter 3:12.  Fervent heat mean to set on fire.

Heb 12:22:  “But ye are come unto mount Zion, unto the city of the living Elohim, the heavenly²⁰³² Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company (#3461 ten thousand) of angels (#32 messengers, bringers of good tidings), [i.e.] to the general assembly (universal) and assembly of the firstborn, which are written in heaven (#3772 from #3735 mountain), …to the theos (the godly) the judges of all, …to the spirits of just men (#1342 innocent and righteous) made perfect (#5048 complete, of full age), and to Yahshua the mediator of the new covenant…”

As each person becomes perfected or of full age, they come to the end of an age and enter another.  Matthew 24:31, 36 “And he shall send his messengers with a great sound of a trumpet [voices bringing good tidings. Read Isaiah 40:9 & 58:1], and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other… But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the messengers of heaven, but my Father only.”

1Co 7:16-17 “For do you know, O wife, whether you shall save your husband? Or how do you know, O man, whether you shall save your wife?  But as God hath distributed to every man, as Yahweh has called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all the assemblies.”

Mat 9:37-38 “Then said he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers²⁰⁴⁰ are few; Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth¹⁵⁴⁴ laborers²⁰⁴⁰ into his harvest.”

1Co 3:9 “For we are laborers together with Yahweh: ye are Yahweh’s husbandry,¹⁰⁹¹ (land worker, farmer) you are His building.”

G2040 ἐργάτης ergatēs er-gat'-ace  From G2041; a toiler; figuratively a teacher: - labourer, worker (-men).

Joh 4:35  “Do not say, there are yet four months, and then comes harvest?  Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.”
